Martina and Nicolas Buzzi | PAPER ORGAN

Buzzi Empowering-tools

Paper Organ, Martina and Nicolas Buzzi.

Learning kit Variations of a Paper Organ for middle school and secondary school students by Martina and Nicolas Buzzi.

You can use these free learning materials to create an experimental musical instrument, and explore its resonance, feedback, as well as the collective and spatial arrangements.

The learning kit contains a lesson plan, methodology tips, and a comprehensive guide for building an instrument. We suggest realising the activities in four parts; each of them consists of theory and a practical task. These can be done individually or in groups. For the experiment, every participant needs a mobile phone and a tube that is large enough to house the mobile phone. Finding a tube is one of the activities.

Produced within the framework of Empowering Tools project and residency at Nida Art Colony (NAC) of Vilnius Academy of Art, 2022.
