This workshop focuses on producing pigments from burnt wood from Curonian Spit, which are then used to prepare watercolors. In the second part of the workshop, the colour will be filled in a hand made wood colour box and a brush will be built out of natural elements, foraged from the woods.

Workshops take place as part of the exhibition ‘Neringa Wood Works’ by Neringa Forest Architecture, during which the exhibition space of Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts becomes a studio—a space to work with wood from the Curonian Spit. The workshops will continue until the end of August.
