‘Things on Vacation and other Leftovers’
(entering Nida during high season in August.)
Nida: a town of strong collective mentality or of feeling ‘on vacation’, the air feels lighter, people’s steps feel lighter here, the faces and gestures you see are different from those in a city. In vacation mode, we care less or have less things to care about.
I am building all these airy and floating feelings on one solid structure; moreover this structure is a 1:1 model replicated with a lighter material than the existing metal one currently located at the beach. The structure of the dressing room has a very specific function that relates to being on vacation here in Nida.

I have seen the most beautiful scenery in Nida, a bunch of middle aged naked women in plump shapes jumping in the waves together at the women only nudist beach.
the micro migration at the beach, baby strollers, bikes, umbrellas, mini tent and other equipment.
identical changing rooms with 3 types of commercial along the long long coast line of the Curonian Spit is the only seasonal infrastructure at the beach.

oh yes, I tried it for the first time and since then I’m in love with the nudist beach and swimming naked.
