As part of her residency at Nida Art Colony Alisa Oleva invites you on a soundwalk around the area as the sun sets and the darkness settles. How does this place sound? Does the soundscape change with darkness? What becomes audible and what inaudible?
We will start with a tuning in and then go on a silent walk together, led by Alisa. This is an invitation to try to focus on the sounds and be able to listen to sounds near and far, inside us and outside, sounds of our footsteps as we walk on various surfaces, sounds of the clouds moving, sounds of our thoughts and of our dreams.
During her time in Nida, Alisa has been exploring desire lines, soundscapes, borders and nightwalking.
