Pertinent for post-Soviet countries, especially in light of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine, the question ‘Why does Palestine matter for everyone and everywhere?’ urges reflection on the undoing of national narratives shaped by decades of occupation and shifting alliances.

While temporarily based in Nida, Lithuania, Dutch Art Institute (DAI), in close collaboration with NAC, seizes the opportunity to convene a forum with Goda Jurevičiūtė, human rights practitioner from Lithuania, Yulia Krivich, curator and artist from Ukraine/Poland, and Maria Hlavajova, researcher and artistic director from Slovakia/Netherlands for Palestine Teach Out#7. Drawing on their experiences and practices, they will address this space from three perspectives, identifying key facts and moments and thus opening pathways beyond the divisions that seem to have taken root.
