My Own Private Ghost Town is a composition of pine boxes covered with sculpted concrete in the form of a modular bird house bastion. Built throughout the summer and autumn of 2021 and spring 2022, it is thought to be used by swifts, bats, spiders and others wanting to find refuge. The sculpture is accompanied by a poster-publication with a text and image collage by Anastasia Sosunova.
My Own Private Ghost Town was commissioned by Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts in collaboration with the art space Swallow in 2021 and 2022.
