Three female agents are on a quest to investigate obliterated female* memories, providing them with clues about a mysterious creature, which legends describe as “the great CUNT,“. This creature, is said to be found in the dune landscape. The agents created hybrid devices, connecting them to the whispers of sand, the story telling of lichens, and slumbering objects, once left behind, while deciphering the memories that have been scattered and trapped in the landscape. The agents themselves suffer from amnesia, which once caused by patriarchal power structures, left their bodies and minds with a feeling of loss, but uniting them even more in their mission.

In an ongoing script-writing process, Anna Lugmeier and Laura Weissenberger-Silva are working with Sci-Fi speculation and humor as a co-creation strategy for Feminist storytelling. In their work, speculation is a form of envisioning a future, creating a space in which FLINTAQ* realities can be shaped and transformed.

They will share parts of the first draft of their script in progress, alongside analogue pictures of the dunes and sound recordings that were created during their residency at Nida Art Colony.

This project was supported by the Culture Moves Europe Fund by the Goethe Institute.
