Marita Fraser
Marita Fraser is an artist, researcher and writer with an interdisciplinary practice intertwining painting, sculpture, installation, performance, moving image, art writing and scores. She collaborates with performers and musicians most recently working with musician Mücha. Dr Fraser’s practice led PhD from the Royal College of Art developed ‘speaking with’ as a feminist method of practice. She was previously in the roles of Programme Leader of the MLitt Fine Art Practice, Head of Sculpture and Environmental Art and Undergraduate Program Director for the School of Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art (GSA) and is now Head of Fine Art at City and Guilds London Art School. Dr Fraser continues to supervise PhDs at GSA. Her research interests include ‘speaking with’ and refusal as feminist methods of practice.
