Ladina Laura Honegger

Ladina Laura Honegger is a carpenter based in Zurich whose path to craftsmanship was shaped by a diverse background in music, catering, consulting, e-commerce and event production. Before completing her carpentry apprenticeship, she spent several years as a project manager in event and client services, honing her skills in coordination and logistics.
Her woodworking practice – previously rooted in fair fashion and refined at the Zurich Opera House workshop – blends technical precision with a deep sensitivity to form and material. Her professional experience and travels through India, Thailand, Brazil, Georgia and beyond inspired her to take her craft across borders – creating works as well as initiating community-based projects. As part of the collective gemeinsam bauen wir neu, she advocates for normalizing gender equality in the construction industry. It is a matter close to her heart to create balance between people, wood, sustainability and well-being.
