Marsha Bradfield

Marsha Bradfield rides the hyphen as an archivist-artist-curator-educator-researcher-writer. Her interdisciplinary practice considers the subject of interdependence. This includes authorship, value systems, organisational structures; interculturality and the economies/ecologies of collaborative cultural production; and life-wide/life-long learning.

Current work is focused on incidentality and draws on Marsha’s collaboration with the Incidental Unit (the third iteration of the Artist Placement Group).

Marsha is based at the University of the Arts London, where she is a senior lecturer on BA Fine Arts (Camberwell College of Arts); leads MA Intercultural Practices (Central Saint Martins) and supervises practice-research PhDs in art, design (the built and natural environment), performance, curating and their education and organisation (Chelsea College of Arts).
