Gvidas Laukaitis
Since childhood, Gvidas Laukaitis has been deeply dedicated to learning and understanding as much about nature’s cycles and secrets as possible. In 2005 Laukaitis became a member of the Lithuanian Ornithological Society and was a volunteer and researcher for various nature conservation projects. In 2007, he completed his studies in Biology at Vilnius University and, since 2011 has worked on a range of projects for the Nature Research Centre in Vilnius.
Between 2014 and 2015, he managed a mobile museum for exotic orthopods across the western region of Lithuania, which offered non-formal education for primary school and kindergarten pupils. He was the founder of the Nature Discovering Club at Klaipėda Rainbow Gymnasium from 2021 to 2023, where he held a position as an educator and wild nature teacher.
Since summer 2024, in his role as park educator and guide, Laukaitis has been sharing his passion for the Curonian Spit National Park with visitors from across Lithuania and abroad.
