Call of the Void, Evamaria Muller
Evamaria Müller (lives and works in Vienna) is interested in representations of the mystification of nature and science and analyses different storytelling techniques by constructing spacial compositions that invite the visitor to engage with its layered components in an exhibition-like setting. Originally coming from a background in theatre-/film-/media-theory and stage design she works with sound, video, and text. She also works as a sound designer for film, performance, radio, and theatre. Recently her work could have been seen in Pathos Theater, Munich (2019), Vienna Künstlerhaus (2019), and Munich Biennale (2018). Müller’s residency is part of the exchange program between Vorarlberg muncipality and Nida Art Colony. During the residency she will work under the proposed topic "critical theory and humor in art".

Juliette Feck 2 Meduso detail
Meduso, detail, Juliette Feck
Juliette Feck (based in Marseille) works embellish humans' refusal to accept certain realities of existence. She developed a pronounced taste for photography while nourishing a very personal world, almost obsessional, compiling pictures of waste, breakage and crash, often violent and strongly related to death. Her vanitas meet through new shapes, oscillating between the mystical and the prosaic, the ethereal and the anchored. Her work was shown, amongst others, at the Villa Sarasin, Geneva (2019), Topography of Art gallery, Paris (2019),  Voyons Voir, Marseille (2017), and Unisson Centre, London (2016).

Jurga Daubaraitė and Jonas Žukauskas through architectural, curatorial and research projects aim to create new relations between societies and their environment, past and future that is being shaped by two very different – linear soviet and rhizomatic European – long-term spatial models. Exploring the material, infrastructural and cultural connections that have persevered despite the political borders and conflict lines that have been laid throughout the Baltic region Jurga and Jonas seek to rearticulate architecture in a wider ecology of spatial practices. Currently they are working on Creative Playground project in Vilnius (2019). They curated exhibition The Baltic Material Assemblies at AA Gallery and RIBA in London (2018), and were co-curators of The Baltic Pavilion, joint exhibition that represented Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition at Venice Biennale (2016). Daubaraitė and Žukauskas are staying at NAC thanks to Neringa muncipality's art scholarship.

His artworks are a bit cynical, a bit ironic and may refer to some political contexts, while reflections or motifs of his childhood and computer games can also be found. Park’s works were shown at Užupis Art Incubator, Vilnius (2019), Clara Maria Sels gallery, Düsseldorf (2011), Chohung gallery, Seul (2005), international festival Signs of the Night, Paris (2004), and others. Jun-Ho Park’s residency in Nida Art Colony is part of the exchange program between Düsseldorf, Vilnius Academy of Arts, and Užupis Art Incubator.

Settling Dust, Agnė Juodvalkytė
Agnė Juodvalkytė (based in Berlin) uses textiles as a framework to understand culture, history and technology. She works with different materials, such as clothes, textiles, natural pigments, graphite dust, fabrics made by her grandmother, plants, and incorporates various mediums. Often presented in an anthropomorphic way, her works breathe their past into the present, becoming multidimensional artifacts extending not only into the space but also into time. Recently Juodvalkytė’s works were exhibited at Si:said gallery, Klaipėda (2019), KM28, Berlin (2019), and Reinbeckhallen, Berlin (2018).

Lesia 3 nomadic school of visual education
Nomadic School of Visual Education, Lesia Kulchynska
Lesia Kulchynska (based in Kyiv) is a curator, art critic, culture studies and visual culture researcher. In her curatorial practice, she investigates and tests the boundaries between art and reality. The driving force of her curatorial practice is the mystery of the artistic inception of real-life processes. The educational activity is another important part of her curatorial strategy. She aims to introduce via the educational system the element of art into the basic constellation of social driving forces. She worked as a researcher and exhibition curator at the Visual Culture Research Center (Kyiv) since 2011 up to 2019. She is also a founder of Nomadic School of Visual Education and co-founder (together with artist Maria Kulykivska) of School for Political Performance. Kulchynska's residency is part of the exchange program between Ukranian Institute and Nida Art Colony.
