Through educational activities, it is planned to raise awareness of the use of design terms and their difference: brand sound design, video sound design, urban sound design (spatial environment etc.). Audiovisual language enables an individual to perceive information through a variety of perceptual channels. Sound identity becomes as important as graphic design, because for a modern person who practices multitasking in almost every life situation, audio messaging helps to convey and / or receive the desired message. The activity will be implemented in cooperation with the Latvian Sound Designers Club. The five-day session will focus on gaining an understanding of sound design and developing a visual-auditory identity. The participants will be able to use the knowledge gained for marketing purposes of their organizations or other creative activities.

This event is developed within the framework of the project “Paradigm shift from traditional to creative industries - the essence for sustainable regional development” (CCI & Sustainability).
