Besides the residency programme, from November–March, NAC offers possibility to spend 2–4 weeks at NAC for a work retreat. Work retreats are meant for those seeking a calm and focussed work environment to focus on developing new work, research, studying, or PhD writing. Rooms are assigned based on availability. As there are more requests than available rooms, access is granted via an application process with focus on giving space to professionals actively working in the field of culture and academia.
 
Applications for work retreats start as from September and are assessed continuously. Applications are reviewed upon submission by NAC team. Response given within 5 days to 2 weeks. Fill out the work retreat form here.
 

 
COSTS NOVEMBER-APRIL


1 Person: 2 weeks: 242€; 3 weeks: 363€; 4 weeks: 484€
2 Persons: 2 weeks: 339€; 3 weeks: 508€; 4 weeks: 678€
  
Costs include: accommodation, sheets and towels, WiFi, use of common kitchens and the library (restricted use during lockdown). Further costs apply for using the workshops, NAC equipment, exhibition and conference rooms. 
  
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION


You are required to pay for your work retreat no later than two weeks before your arrival. If you have paid and your plans change, you will receive a full refund minus bank charges if you warn us two weeks prior to the reserved start of your work retreat. If you fail to cancel in time or don’t pay in time, we won’t be able to fully refund you and we won’t be able to keep the room reserved for you.
