We are looking for a responsible, dedicated, well organised, friendly and communicative person with strong administrative skills and experience of working in the hospitality field. 
 
This position will suit a flexible, quick thinker and great team player who can deal with challenges in a confident manner, can multitask, and is efficient at managing their workflow independently to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of NAC. 

We require someone fluent in English and Lithuanian, who enjoys daily contact and exchange with many different persons, a hands on person, who is attentive to detail, and willing to work in a dynamic, multifunctional cultural and education institution.

Start date: December 2023

Main duties: 
• Welcome NAC visitors including artists-in-residence, students, VAA staff members, general guests and ensure their safety, hospitality and comfort while staying at NAC;
• 
Manage NAC room reservations, issue and process invoices, track payments and manage other administrative documents;
• Ensure the premises of NAC are represented to the highest standards in terms of cleanliness, equipment, and the technical functioning, supervise NAC cleaning and housekeeping staff, plan and oversee their work on a daily basis;
• 
Manage public procurement purchases for household infrastructure, oversee and control maintenance and communal services contracts and other documents;
• 
Oversee and manage the household inventory; 
• 
Be the first point of contact by email, telephone and direct communication with NAC visitors on a daily basis, support guests by providing information about NAC and the Neringa region;
• 
Assist with NAC event and project organisation, welcome groups, give tours of NAC, introduce its operations and history to visiting groups, students, workshop and participants, support travel and catering arrangements;
• 
Administer office workplace, improve and implement NAC housekeeping and administration processes. 

Desirable skills and attributes: 
• 
Experience of working in the hospitality field, supervision or administrative work;
• 
Written and spoken Lithuanian and English to at least B2 level;
• 
Driving licence (B category);
• 
Experience of working with communication technologies and administration management programmes (such as Microsoft Office and similar);
• 
Ability to solve problems in a professional manner, provide concise information, know the basic principles of communication and cooperation, collegiality and the norms of official ethics;
• 
Knowledge of premises management and an interest in ecological and sustainable ways of maintaining premises;
• 
An interest in contemporary culture, history, education fields; 
• 
Commitment to stay at NAC for at least 2 years.
