Thursday, the 7th of November at 18.00, VAA Nida Art Colony invites you to yet another screening from the art documentary program prepared by cinema studio "Nominum". This time on our screen it's a film "Man-Horse" by Lithuanian director Audrius Mickevičius.

“Man-Horse” is a film about an old farmer, Jonas, and his horse. It is an intimate story about the existential relationship between human and animal; it is about solitude and the daily effort to survive. The film's director and Jonas Šalomskas are neighbours in the village of Užuguostis. They have known each other for two decades.
Audrius Mickevičius (b. 1965) studied architecture at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts (Lithuania) and visual communication in Copenhagen (Denmark). He is a multidisciplinary artist, an associate professor at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, and a guest lecturer at various European Universities. He has created sixteen short films. "Man-Horse" is his first feature-length documentary.
The film in Nida Art Colony will be presented by the author of the film, thus those interested to discuss and disclose the hidden with the director, are welcome.
As are all good things, all the screenings in Nida Art Colony are for free.
