Read the interview with Lesia Kulchynska, curator of the Sweet Dreams Foundation exhibition that was on view at Nida Art Colony between July and October 2022.
We asked Lesia about the work process and inspirations behind this exhibition, discussed the choice of artworks, and spoke about the role of the audience in Sweet Dreams Foundation. Lesia reflected on the current state of artistic production and talked about the changes in her curatorial practice since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Curator: Lesia Kulchynska Funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund and the Embassy of Switzerland to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The exhibition is funded by Goethe-Institut and incorporated into a comprehensive package of measures for which the Federal Foreign Office provides funding from the 2022 Supplementary Budget to mitigate the effects of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
