On view at NAC Library is a selection of drawings by the artist Indrė Liškauskaitė. The drawings function as a practical tool that Liškauskaitė carefully sets up as a composition of geometrical forms and colours specifically assigned to each day, based on her tasks and duties for the upcoming week. These duties include the work related to her individual artistic practice, as well as her paid jobs – among them her role as residency coordinator at NAC between 2019 and 2020. Once a task is completed or partially completed, the space assigned to it is marked in oil pastel, partially covering the writing underneath. Therefore, day by day each drawing evolves, and by the end of the week Liškauskaitė has completed both a drawing and a document of her time.

In addition to this presentation at NAC Library, the drawings will be displayed at other public work spaces related to Liškauskaitė’s daily practice throughout 2022.
