NAC Residency programme in May

Artists Mila Kostianá, Laima Kreivytė and Ineta Armanavičiūtė, Chia-Yun Wu stay at NAC in May to participate in the residency programme. While continuing the residency in Nida are artists Tanya Denysenko and Anke Dyes.
Mila Kostianá, based in Kyiv, has received a formal education in the field of cultural studies and design. As a multimedia designer and visual researcher, Kostianá is interested in feminism and gender studies, queer and decolonial theory, political philosophy. Her practice mostly revolves around Kyivan cultural heritage. Her work has been presented in Brandenburg State Museum for Modern Art and Ground Solyanka gallery.
Laima Kreivytė, based in Vilnius, is an artist, curator, writer and lecturer at Vilnius Academy of Arts. Kreivytė has curated more than 60 exhibitions, including the Lithuanian pavillion at the 53d Venice Biennale and the Vilnius National Art Gallery's permanenet installation. In addition to this, Kreivytė has released the following poetry books: Sapfo skai(s)tykla, Artumo aritmetika, compiled albums of Marija Teresė Rožanskaitė and Kęstutis Zapkus works, as well as participates in exhibitions with the „Cooltūristės" group or solo.
Ineta Armanavičiūtė takes part in projects with Cooltūristės group, works with photography, videoart and graphic design.
Chia-Yun Wu, based in Taipei, focuses on the production and research of the image and has conducted experiments and practice in transmedia. Through techniques of film narration, mise en scène and cinematic language that reconstructs the context, she seeks to alter image and sound into a spatial installation. In recent years, she has been selected internationally to the PROYECTOR Festival de Videoarte, the European Media Art Festival, Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin and the London Short Film Festival, has received a British Academy of Film Awards qualification, and has screened at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Auditorium du Louvre and Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
