The screening is organised in collaboration with Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin festival, which grants selected short film directors a week stay at NAC. Currently in Nida, Andrius Batkus will share stories behind the making of his film after the screening.

Synopsis: Lithuania, 1992, a small provincial town. Jonas (35), obtains money that doesn’t belong to him from his brother-in-law Zigmas (42). He secretly invests it in a new town-based business: sorting plastic pellets. Pay the deposit - you get pellets - you sort them - you get back twice the amount of the deposit. When the theft of money comes to light, Jonas is forced to return the money immediately. The only way to do this is by involving the whole family in the realization of the new investment - sorting of pellets. The pellets that opposed them suddenly bring everyone together to a common table where family members reveal their characters and relationship to Jonas. He manages to regain lost authority and neutralize the obsolete notion that he is a loser.

The film is about the ability to survive crisis situations while discovering the true values a person can rely on.
