Neringa Forest Architecture Tours in December 2021

4, 11, 26 December, 12pm

The NFA Tours continue in December! Due to the fast approaching cold weather some of the tours might be held inside and some might take place in the forest as usual. We encourage you to keep track of the weather and dress accordingly for each tour.

This month, the tours are led once again by the expert guides: naturalist Jonė Pivoraitė, forester Gediminas Virgilijus Dikšas, and architect Anton Shramkov. They are planned to facilitate conversation on nature, forests and cultivate inquiry and discussion about the unique juncture between ecological, political/managerial, recreational and industrial narratives associated with the Curonian woods, landscape and the built environment.

The programme is implemented as part of the ongoing Neringa Forest Architecture (NFA) project at NAC, developed within the framework of NERINGA - Lithuanian Capital of Culture 2021. The project is co-funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, Nordic Culture Point and NERINGA- Lithuanian Capital of Culture 2021.
