It is today, 10 years ago, that Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts opened its doors. On that day the studios, public spaces, and guest rooms were inaugurated, and we celebrated the beginning of this unique institutional structure of a hybrid as we know it today - with its international residency programme, art programme, VAA seminar site, and site for gatherings of all kinds for the arts community at large, in Lithuania and internationally.

Over the past 10 years, NAC has been growing in space and content, and has turned into a cherished and appreciated institution, focusing on providing space and initiating a multifold of productions on site in Nida, elsewhere in Lithuania, and even abroad. Yet, with so much going on, NAC does not fail to keep its initial trajectory to provide time and retreat possibilities for the cultural community, which is so important especially these days.

Needless to say, over these years, there have been so many who have helped and continue to support NAC to develop and rise, and have given their endless input and guidance. NAC would like to thank you all for caring and being there throughout these years!

To mark this special occasion, we are happy to share a playlist compiling works by artists who have resided at NAC studios and participated in NAC programmes over the past 10 years. It is 2,5 hours long and consists of various types of music and sound pieces, many of them relating to Nida and NAC.

Many thanks to the artists who participated, shared their work and collaborated in developing this collective anniversary present:
