| On the 3rd of September personal show Gugging's Garden by artists Irma Stanaitytė-Bazienė was opened at the VAA exhibition halls Titanikas. Exhibition runs until 21 September. If you cannot make it in time or if you enjoy being teased beforehand - take a look at the photographs of the exhibition. |
| Gugging’s Garden may resemble some road movie scenes or the audiovisual excerpts from a roadtrip diary. For this exhibition three places in Austria are juxtaposed in order to construct the very likely or, in constrast, imaginary links between them. Patient’s room inside the building, the Discovery of the New World in the surroundings of the monastery, and inaudible sounds in the space fitter for the art residency meet in the Gugging’s garden.
Project by Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts together with AIR – ARTIST IN RESIDENCE Niederösterreich programme in Austria. Exhibition runs until 21 September at the 1st floor of Titanikas exhibition hall, Maironio g. 3, Vilnius, Lithuania. |
