On the 30th of May Nida Art Colony resident Liesbet Grupping (BE) ran the workshop for the students of Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts in Klaipėda.

During the workshop the artist presented the olden techniques of photography and her own artistic practice. Together with the students she discussed how did photography change during time and what does it mean nowadays. After the theoretical part of the workshop, the participants tried to make camera obscura, one of the first photography inventions. They darkened the room and left a small hole for the light to project the outside view on the room walls.
