| On the 17th of May Nida Art Colony resident Marion Blume (DE) ran the workshop for the 5th graders of Neringa gymnasium. |
| At first the artist showed examples of her jewellery artworks, which are all made of various materials she found in Nida. During the workshop pupils of Neringa gymnasium together with Marion were collecting branches, moss, leaves, and other natural materials, which they lated used to make their own painting brushes. The participants of the workshop tried out new tools for creating abstract compositions.
