By congratulating Neringa city with its 57th birthday on the 16th of November Nida Art Colony will organize two events: at 3.30–4 pm  presentation and performance Hidden Architecture by Norbert Tukaj and at 12 – 2.39 pm What time is it on Mars now? An invitation to imagine by Teena Lange  at the project space Kiosk (11 Taikos st, Nida).

The fellow of this year’s Neringa City Municipality’s scholarship Norbert Tukaj during his residency at Nida Art Colony developed his project Hidden Architecture. For this cheerful occasion, the artist wants to share his interest in the uniqueness of Neringa's resort architecture and bring peoples’ attention to it.

The majority of such architecture designed by architects of Lithuanian origin has been built in the second half of the 20th century. In 21st century it is still uncommon to regard the architecture of this period as valuable, and Neringa is no exception. Norbert sees this architecture as a subject in the natural and cultural contexts, as a subject of art piece, and as a subject consisting of distinctive fragments and details. On the 16th of November 3.30–4 pm at Nida Art Colony Norbert will present photography series of pictures taken in the Curonian Spit and a performance submerging in a cloud of colour.
