This August at Nida Art Colony artist duo, Heidi Axelsen (AU) and Hugo Moline (AU) were reflecting on how to schedule their artistic practices while working together as a family. How to equalize responsibilities and organize time during the residency? How to be productive in the routine of cooking, cleaning and childcare, but at the same time to remain an artist? They were transforming these questions into art pieces. Artists were also working on a project that they are going to present during the design week in the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Australia. There Heidi and Hugo are planning to design an enormous long table for the community to meet and work. The artists were making sketches and models of this project which is connected to their artistic research about productive and non-productive labor.
