In general residency grants are only distributed via partnering institutions of NAC. Selected candidates for open call residencies are issued a letter of support for individual grant-seeking.
NAC develops residency exchange programmes with partnering institutions as well as regions in Lithuania and abroad to enable artists and art practitioners receive scholarships for their stay in Nida or participate to the partnering institutions’ residency program. Application deadlines are varying, they are continuously announced via NAC and partnering institutions’ online communication tools.
