On Friday, August 21, at 5 PM, we invite you to a curator-led tour of the exhibition ‘Dune’ at Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Curated by the Nida Art Colony Director Neringa Bumblienė, the exhibition ‘Dune’ looks at the Curonian Spit as a real yet myth-laden place – one that opens up space for imagination even against the backdrop of geopolitical and ecological upheavals. Moving between documentary and speculative fiction, the participating artists Invernomuto, Deimantas Narkevičius, and Emilija Škarnulytė, focus on the meanings and possibilities that emerge at the intersections of the human, nature, myth, and new technologies.
