Reyhaneh Mirjahani is an artist and artistic researcher based in Sweden. Through her work, she critically examines the concepts of individual and collective agency in socio-political participation, as well as the ethical considerations that arise in this discourse. With a participatory approach, Reyhaneh investigates the complexities of the cosmopolitan liberal idea of agency and instead seeks to explore the intricate relationship between agency and structure, the individual and the community.
She earned an MFA in Fine Art from HDK-Valand, Gothenburg University, and also participated in the CuratorLab Program at Konstfack and Commissioning and Curating Contemporary Public Art at HDK-Valand.
