Iva Rešetar is an architect and interdisciplinary researcher in the field of environmental design at the Cluster of Excellence »Matters of Activity« at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her interests focus on fluid and marginalised materialities in architecture, methods and aesthetic practices of energy and climate adaptation, and their implications for the regeneration and repair of the built environment. She studied architecture at the Belgrade University and the Städelschule in Frankfurt and received her doctorate from the Berlin University of the Arts. Iva has been a practicing architect in Belgrade and Germany, and has taught and researched among others at Akademie Schloss Solitude, ArcInTexETN, Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, and CCA Montreal.

Recent publications include Breath: Morphological, Ecological and Social Dimensions (De Gruyter, 2022), co-edited with Linn Burchert, and Thermodynamic Structures: Modulating Heat with Phase Change Materials in Architecture (forthcoming, UdK Verlag).
