Clara Rudin Smith lives and works in London, practicing as a DJ, writer, artist and art handler. Her current interests include infrastructure and its consequences for bodily autonomy; technologies for listening and gathering, such as sound systems; and psychoanalysis and the relationships between society, language and inner life. She is currently studying for an MA in Art Praxis with the Dutch Art Institute. Between 2020 and 2023 she worked with Hannah Marine on What Comes to Mind, a free-associative, archival audio essay project for radio. In London, she co-organises the club night series Plastic Village, is part of the team behind music events at Black Tower Projects and built a custom sound system for the space in 2020.
