Blanca Valdés lives and works in London. She is currently a British-Chilean PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art, and previously studied architecture at the Universidad Catolica de Chile. For 5 years, she worked on housing and hotel projects in Chilean Patagonia, using mechanised wood to assemble buildings in remote areas. She is currently studying the eucalyptus plantations in the south of Chile and their migration history.
