Bianca Phos is a Vienna-based artist working interdisciplinary and cross-media, with a focus on sculpture and drawing. Within her practice, she explores sociosomatic relations and mutual dependencies that connect humans with material forms, machines, or other organic bodies by challenging traditional conceptions of subjectivity and reconfiguring them as relational, interdependent, and co-evolving systems.
Phos studied Textual Sculpture and Video & Installation at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, HFBK Hamburg and Bezalel Jerusalem. Her works have been included in institutional shows at Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien, Kunst Haus Wien, Belvedere 21, or Universalmuseum Joanneum, Graz with recent solo and duo exhibitions at Gallery Zeller van Almsick, Galerie Kandl or WAF Galerie in Vienna.
