- Tools for Play Workshop
Anton Stuckardt lives and works in Berlin and Rotterdam. Playful explorations into the mechanics of storytelling and figuration are central to his practice as a graphic designer, teacher, writer and publisher. What binds the various threads of his practice is a continuous investigation into how signs function – how things come to mean. Any story can be translated into a text, a letter, a word, a shape, a sound, a face, a piece of wood, a lure… In 2014, he co-founded the publishing imprint zero sharp. He has held teaching positions at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe and the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig.
Kinga Bachem lives and works in Rotterdam. She is a landscape architect at ZUS (Zones Urbanes Sensibles) and the mother of Iso. Having studied fashion design and landscape architecture, she is particularly interested in the voids that emerge, change and disappear between cloth, architecture, landscape and our bodies as we move through them. During the Tools for Play workshop she aims to explore how these in-between spaces can become objects of undirected play.
