The voluntary action “Pull, cut, collect” is organized for the third time in the Curonian Spit together with the Directorate of the Curonian Spit National Park.

Magda Buczek, a current resident at VAA Nida Art Colony, invites you to her studio (E. A. Jonušo Str. 3, Neringa) on the 14th of September at 7PM. The artist will present a performance titled “In the pines, in the pines”.

31st of August‒30th of September five Ph.D. students, who are taking part in ArcIntex ETN (European training network) program, are residents in VAA Nida Art Colony. In the end of residency time, artists will present their group project.

The second Nida Doctoral School session “CO-ACTION: artists' placements in Non-Arts Organisations” took place on 22nd-28th August at Nida Art Colony. Nine lecturers, academics and eighteen selected doctoral students reflected on the value of artist placements in non-arts organisations such as business, political and science bodies.
Curator of Nida Doctoral School is Justė Kostikovaitė.
The programme is organised by the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania, and Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture.

The exhibition “Climbing Invisible Structures: Ritualised Disciplinary Practices in Social Life. Part 3: Žeimiai” is now officially over, but we have a suggestion for this weekend. On the 3rd of September we organize a guided tour of the exhibition with the curator Eglė Mikalajūnė.
