Our new small project space for the cold season in Nida

Before the winter holidays have some news as a gift! From now on VAA Nida Art Colony will be a little bit closer to Nida town center. In this small wooden hut-stall located in the main (Taikos) street, we will exhibit and present art works and projects by the Colony's residents.

Christmas is at the Colony already! We have taken this Christmas tree from the Grey Dunes on the Curonian Spit, joining the campaign of Kretinga Forest Enterprise. 


Akershus Art Centre announces its 2017 exhibition programme featuring the final show of the VAA Nida Art Colony project

The Akershus Art Centre, located in the town of Lillestrøm 15 minutes away from Oslo (Norway) city center, will have the final exhibition of VAA Nida Art Colony’s “Climbing Invisible Structures” project on show from 10th of February to 12th of March.

We are pleased to announce our new residents Romina Abate (IT/DE), Vytautas Germanavičius (LT), Tara Langford (UK), Vanda Padimanskaitė (LT) and Natalija Vujosevic (YU/ME) who are taking part in VAA Nida Art Colony’s Artist-In-Residency programme in December.

On the last weekend of November, three VAA Nida Art Colony's residents Barbara Kapusta (AT), Andrius Mulokas (LT) and Natalie Sanders (UK) presented their projects during the Open Studios event.
